RESIDENCE CARD COLLECTION

You’re going to be informed of the possibility of residence card collection via a text message, which will be sent to the number you provided in the application. Due to the current situation, if you haven’t paid for your residence card priorly, you’re going to have to exhibit proof of payment while collecting the card.

After scheduling an appointment you will be able to collect the residence card in the Department for Foreigners office located on Przy Rondzie 6 in Kraków in customer service room no. 2.
You may collect your residence card during the Department’s opening hours:
from Monday to Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM.

RESIDENCE CARD REPLACEMENT

If you want to schedule an appointment for residence card collection you can do it only via a dedicated email address:rezerwacja.opt@muw.pl In order to receive an appointment for residence card replacement send the following data:

  • First and last name
  • Date of birth
  • Citizenship
  • Current of legal stay
  • Expiration date of current basis of legal stay
  • Basis of application submission
  • Location of application submission


In the email subject please write “card replacement”. You’re going to receive a reply with an appointment date within a few business days.
The next step will be to show up to the appointment in the Department’s office – ul. Przy Rondzie 6 Kraków, customer service room on the ground floor (on the right of the main entrance). Office employees possess a list of individuals with appointments based on which they will ask them to come in at the appointed time.

DECISION COLLECTION

Due to the limited in-person customer service in the office your decision will be mailed to you via post to the address you provided in the application. Currently in-person decision collection in the office is impossible.
After receiving your decision please wait for contact from the office regarding the possibility of residence card collection.

Remember! You don’t have to inform us about the fact you have collected your decision nor ask/send requests for your card to be printed. We’re going to contact you regarding this matter by sending you a text message concerning the possibility of scheduling an appointment for your residence card collection.

OPT APPOINTMENT SCHEDULING

If you would like to schedule an appointment for submission of a temporary, permanent, or long-term EU resident residence permit, you can do so exclusively via a dedicated email address: rezerwacja.opt@muw.pl

In order to schedule an appointment for application submission send the following data:

  • First and last name
  • Date of birth
  • Citizenship
  • Current basis of legal stay
  • Expiry date of current basis of legal stay
  • Purpose of stay
  • Location of submission

You will receive a response with an appointment within a couple of business days.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: If you mailed an application via post DO NOT schedule an appointment for application submission.

Attention: in the case of reporting to the customer service room at the time appointed by the reservation system without the correct application, with an improperly completed application, without the required copies of the application, or without attachment no 1., the Office reserves the right to refuse service. In such case it will be necessary to schedule another appointment or use other available forms of application submission (e.g. mailing the application via post).

DOCUMENT SUBMISSION POINT

As in-person customer service in the Department for Foreigners has been partially resumed, the possibility of submitting missing documents via a document submission point bas been reinstated.

Currently the document submission point operates during dedicated days and hours, i.e., from Monday to Friday from 4 PM to 7 PM and documents which may be submitted have to concern pending cases.

If you want to submit different documents you may do so via post.

EUROPEAN UNION CITIZENS

Currently application submission for an EU citizen is only possible upon prior reservation. If you want to schedule an appointment regarding residence registration of an EU citizen or granting permanent stay to an EU citizen contact us via phone or email: 12 39 21 152 / ue@muw.pl.

If you want to check whether the application is filled out properly before submission scan it and send it via email to rhagno@malopolska.uw.gov.pl. Remember! All applications have to be filled out in Polish.

WORK PERMITS

Dear employer, applications regarding work permits along with the required documents may be submitted via post or online via www.praca.gov.pl

Attention! During the procedure of issuing a work permit it’s required to submit the original of informacja starosty. In the case of submitting an application online, the original of informacja starosty is to be delivered to the office via post.

The decision will be mailed to you via post or sent electronically in the case of online application submission via www.praca.gov.pl - elektronicznie.

PUBLIC HEALTH REGULATIONS

Only individuals without symptoms like fever, cough, and breathing problems may enter the office (as per received notice or without a scheduled appointment in cases which require personal appearance).

One is to possess all required documents regarding the case, e.g., valid passport, proof of payment, etc. Only individuals with the required documents will be able to enter the office.

While entering the office one is to wear a mask or another kind of mouth and nose covering and maintain adequate distance from other individuals and office employees (the recommended distance is 2 meters).

  • Removal of mask or other mouth and nose covering may be performed only as per clear instruction from an office employee for the purpose of verification, after maintaining safe distance.
  • During the visit please follow rules of moving around mentioned in announcements.
  • Consider the fact that bathrooms in the office will be unavailable.
  • For safety reasons, third parties (accompanying individuals) will be asked to wait outside of the building.

Remember! Receiving a personal appearance notice from the office does not exempt you from undergoing quarantine or other forms of isolation associated with the epidemic threat.

In the case of violating the abovementioned rules visit in the office will not be possible.

INVITATIONS

Due to the limited in-person customer service in the office submission of invitation applications is only possible via post.

The invitation will be mailed to you via post to the address you provided in the application. Currently in-person invitation collection in the office is impossible.

FORMAL INSUFFIECIENCES

Formal insufficiencies (including personal appearance, submission of fingerprints) may be completed only during appointments scheduled by the office.

If you mailed an application via post wait for notice from the office. One is to show up to the meeting on the appointed date and time with a valid passport and document/s mentioned in the notice.

Remember! If you do not speak Polish fluently, come to the interview with a translator.
